any opinions on Strictly Performance in Van Nuys?

My head gasket has blown so this seems like a good time to change my stock LT1 heads for ported/polished versions, and maybe a few other mods. I've talked a little with Strictly Performance over in Van Nuys. The are relatively clsoe to me, and the guy seemed nice in the brief conversation we had. However they seem very difficult to reach by phone. I've left callback messages a few times and they never seem to return my calls. Maybe I'm overreacting a bit, but it's leaving me feeling very nervous about leaving them my car to mod along with a few grand of my cash.

So, I just wanted to know, has anyone here worked with them before? Are they fairly reliable and do good work? It they get some good praise then maybe I'll take the risk and go for it, but as it is I'm leaning towards just going elsewhere, such as Don Lee Auto which has been mentioned on this board a few times. If you've worked with Strictly Performance, let me know what you think of the place. Thanks!

Hmm, I guess no one here has used them I searched around on other camaro forums and found nothing but praise for Strictly Performance (and Don Lee Auto as well) so it sounds like it's a safe bet. Guess I'll just have to drive over on the weekend and schedule everything. Thanks anyways guys.

Cool, thanks for the info. So far I've heard only good things about them, so I drove on by to chat in person. He seems like a good guy so I'm gonna get the motor redone there, a 383 rebuild with better heads, forged parts and a new cpu program. Already left the deposit so he's looking for a block and heads to work on. Should be a few weeks before everything is all done.
