Just a thought about the Concepts Platform...
Since we know GM won’t use the CV6 production platform under the NAIAS concept......
Does anyone think they may use the current GTO's?
In my eyes the concept we've seen would fit the general proportions of the production GTO.
Any thoughts?

Re: Just a thought about the Concepts Platform...
my first thought is you need to put down the pipe and walk away for awhile j/k.
i think the concept is either gonna sport a GTO platform or a modified Sigma chassis.

CZ6. And my bet is that the chassis under the conept doesn't matter but still I think Kappa components will be used.

Re: Just a thought about the Concepts Platform...
They publicly announced last week already that they would be showing a Camaro concept built on a stretched Kappa. Pay attention, please!
Reds been telling us for months not to pay any attention to the concept platform, its merely a mule to show the body on. The real question is, "what, exactly, are those CAD drawings showing"?

Re: Just a thought about the Concepts Platform...
I saw a illustration of some rear suspension components that looked like Kappa componets, but I don't know what they were from. I've been going through way too many threads the last couple of days.

Re: Just a thought about the Concepts Platform...
You must have missed this thread then? It shows a couple pics underneath the CTS. The rear looks IDENTICAL to the Camaro chassis . The front is a little different I think? I think that's where the "sigma-lite" is coming from? Or shall I say, "zegma"??

Re: Just a thought about the Concepts Platform...
Ok for those of you who didn’t read my first post…..
I’M TALKING ABOUT THE CONCEPT NOT THE PRODUCTION CAR
I know the PRODUCTION CAR will use sigma-lite, I was one of the first here to say it when the CV6 tech drawings were posted this week.
I’m talking about the NAIAS concept……
I’m thinking the current GTO may be used,
Its in production,
Its about the right size to fit the concept around it,
It has all the right hardware in it already….
Geez its just a theory,

Re: Just a thought about the Concepts Platform...
Sounds like the upcoming Camaro will have IRS problems like the CTSv does.
