LS1 rear brakes can be upgraded to c5 rear brakes on camaro?

LS1 rear brakes can be upgraded to c5 rear brakes on camaro?
I was just wondering this... I am interested in knowing if it can be done, if the backplates use the same spacing as the C5 rear brakes..

JasonD did just this, although it took work, the bragging rights fit the bill.
