Yea that was one slow honda... I ran a modded teg the other night in my ofcourse stock 2003 Chevy Tracker 4 by 4...he got the jump from a dig, was driving the **** outta it (the fart can was screaming)and only edge me out by a fender maybe less....now the trackers a 6 but slow as *****...I felt the need to yell out that his car was pitaful towards the end of the race . If we were in her malibu he would have been owned hehe

 

see, now dont you feel inferior to the almight honda my honda 3" water pump doesnt even have wheels and it would smoke your malibu....it would be in malibu before you got off the line. i have seen the light. i am trading in all my domestics for rice. i even traded in my budweiser beer for saki!

 

i was trying to be funny about gm and ford. since it wasnt that good i will stop. why do you give a crap about some punk-a** kid?? i just dont get it. maybe i am too old?? and dont come back with its the same as us racing a corvette. its totally not. there are a boatload of camaros and mustangs that can take corvettes. i havent seen once civic on the street take a camaro or a mustang. ever.

2nd... I know a few bad Civics. That would romp the **** out of some nasty V8s

 

They say that on the average car 1 tenth= 1 car lenth. So the difference between a 9 second car and 12 second is 3 seconds. So 3 seconds is roughly 30 car lenths.
Making some changes this winter to hopefully to get it to run some high 8's next spring though

 

i am sure they are out there just rarely seen or driven on the street.

Really though i'm not seeing the potential in the civic as a racecar platform. a Nissan/Datsun 240+Z would be a way better platform IMO. They're small, light, RWD, long,large engine bay, etc.

I've personally seen a 280Z with a supercharged 454 in it.

Also, the big argument rice has is that they can turn, while us muscle cars can't. When you put 400 or so hp to a FWD platform you completely loose any and all steering integrity.
