well being a old dsm guy for over 5 years i am intrested in this but i have a few q's first. how much boost have you been running and is there any signs of crankwalk yet since its getting close to the to the 100k mark. when was the timing belt last changed. and is there any shaft play in the turbo.

 

Up until the other day it was running about 15 pounds, now it's up to about 17, to 'show off' for potential buyers. You know, a couple extra pounds makes a difference to the old 'butt dyno'.

I'm not set up to check to crankwalk, but having had a number of DSm's myself, I can say that this motor seems as strong and tight as any I've ever heard or owned.

The turbo has no play and spools up right as rain..

The T-Belt was changed at 55K I was told, however, there's nothing like doing it yourself to give you peace of mind..
