Re: Solstice Options List

MSRP comes to 25315 with every single option listed (and some overlap/replace each other, so you wouldn't add them all straight up).

Sounds fairly reasonable to me (Miatas have been in that range and above for quite some time). I am irritated that the limited slip is an option, but it isn't an expensive one. And it is (or at least it was for years and years) optional on the Miata too.

The only one I fail to understand is A/C... That basically makes the MSRP $20,380 right away. I mean, how many of these things do you really think will get ordered without air? Dont get me wrong, thats still a smokin' deal, but not the "Under $20k sports car" we were promised.

People on here beg for a non-A/C stripper all the time.

I think the options list looks pretty good.

IMO, A/C, Power Windows and Locks, and ABS should be standard on EVERY SINGLE CAR that is made now.

A/C appears to be standard on the mazda miata, however its base price is $22,098 according to edmunds.com

I grew-up in FL and now live in SC. There are few days I would need AC if I had a convertible. I wouldn't drive through down town but I also wouldn't use a base Solstice w/out AC for a trip like that. AC should stay an option on a car like this. If you are using it as a daily driver or in heavy traffic, add AC.

I personally have repeatedly begged for stripped versions of certain cars... Bench seats... Radio Deletes... Etc etc.

I challenge you to find even one instance where I asked for a car with no A/C...

I would order without A/C . I removed the AC from my TA . I cant stand being all cooped up with the top up . My top is almost NEVER up unless its raining .

Amen to the Sunset Orange But , notice that now its a C6 color option GM has replaced all the cars that had SOM with Fusion Orange . Just a obsevation . Fusion is cool to , but nowwhere near as sweet as SOM .

A solstice with every option avail. will be a bit over a grand more than a base Miata . Whats the problem , you want AC ....get it then . The entire world doesnt require standard AC . On a side note , finding a Soltice with no AC on a dealer lot is gonna be about as rare as the dealer that woulda stocked a no option , 6-speed , no t-top 2002 Z28 . You guys are reeeeeeeeally nitpicking , lol

Re: Solstice Options List

I bet there will be zero Solstices on dealer lots here in Houston that don't have the AC option.

Re: Solstice Options List

That's an option list I can live with - I don't have a problem with the A/C being an option. In fact, all enthusiast cars should have the A/C as an optoin. Let the owner decide.

Can't wait until one shows up at a dealer lot!
