300C versus Charger

This has been bounced around a few times in other threads a bit but I wanted to put them all together on one thread to see what you guys were thinking.

Which do you prefer? Which in SRT's?

As much as I love the Charger name/image, I'm reminded of http://www.race-cars.com/carsales/do...04519223ss.htm when I look at the current one. It just doesn't have anything that makes it stand out that much.

The 300C is more unique, and I think very nice looking. The Charger is nice also, but from the front it can be mistaken for a Magnum and from the rear, it kinda looks like ***. I like that the 300C is unique AND good looking, which is rare for new cars.

I pick the 300C for both base models and SRT. From what I remember reading others say here, the Charger is a little heavier, but a little bit of weight will make it ride a lot smoother (like those older cadillacs) while the suspension is still good/new.

Feel free to compare other cars that you might feel are in the same category. I don't really like the GTO since it appeared into an outdated design, so I don't want to bring it up. I also saw a new Solara today, and man it was very ugly.

300C base
Charger SRT-8

The SRT 300 doesn't look that much different but the SRT Charger looks WORLDS better. The black one looks down right evil.

The srt8 300c does make some very good subtle changes. The lowered ride height and the tiny spoiler so make a big diffrence to me.

Could I drive them both off a cliff and see which one hits the bottom first? That way I'll see which one is quicker.

AND improve the styling at the same time.

Smashingly good idea.

The 300 looks so much better imo. Base, C, SRT-8, it doesn't matter. 300 > Charger.

Re: 300C versus Charger

If it came to SRT-versions the Charger by far. Like stated that Black SRT-8 charger with the hoodscoop new facia, rims etc looks down right sinister. Plus the autostick is a plus. It all depends on what you want do you want heritage or do you want a wanna be caddy?

The 300C is a nice car and i would take a 300c over a charger R/T any day of the week. But when it comes to SRT-Versions i think the charger wins in that catagory. It looks more sinister, has all the same options as the 300c SRT but will prob be cheaper.

I can tell you this much i am like a kid in a candy shop with the SRT-425 Hp charger, the 450 HP stang the 500 HP Vette Z06, the 400 hp GTO (SAP) Man, what a time to be alive. Now only if chevy had the camaro would this lineup be complete.

I was really concidering a 300c a CTS-V and a shelby stang but the new charger looks pretty good to be (only in SRT-8 version)
