Question polishers

I have looking at the porter cable 7424 has anybody used this polisher? Or would you recomend another thanks

TONS of people have it, including me. It is a fantastic tool and well worth the investment.

I know a lot of people use them and will probably not agree with me, but I don't like using polishers. I have one but it don't seem to really do anything.

I have removed some pretty serious defects using a PC. It may take a little longer, but they are completely safe for most anyone to use.

That is one good thing about them, it is impossible to mess up the paint with a polisher. But like i said i prefer a buffer.

Lowes has the Porter Cable model 7336 (same as 7424) for 99.99

That's awesome, but most novices can't use one.

Is the 7636 the same unit only with a grinding wheel? They say that the 7424 can't burn your paint is it the same for the 7336?

The 7336 is the same as the 7424 except it comes with a different counterweight.
