Unhappy 94 Z28 M6 Supercharged, new forged 355, gauging interest

....I am considering sellling the car. In a "nutshell" what you would get is an excellent condition 1994 Polo Metallic Green Supercharged Z28 (coupe) with 44K miles, Powerdyne BD-11 w/mods and bypass valve w/6.5K miles w/42# injectors (SVO) and FMU eliminated, M6, new LT4 clutch/SLP flywheel combo, new forged 355 w/studded mains, new Lloyd Elliot heads (265/195) w/port matched intake, new hardened pushrods, new Comp Pro Magnum RR's @ 1.6 w/guideplates and barely used 3108 Crane spring kit, new BBK 58mm TB, "new" Eaton take-off posi, barely used GM 3.73's, Hooker LT's w/Paul Barry coating, Mufflex Y-Pipe w/Barry coating, Borla Catback w/DMH E-Valve, full instrumentation including Scanmaster in middle A/C vent, LT1 Edit w/molded AKA cable, Eibach Pro Kit, boxed LCA's, boxed SFC's, LCA relo brackets, Pro 5.0 shifter, wood kit in interior, white faced gauges, leather interior (tan), Summit rearend support cover, Denny's heavy duty driveshaft, 12 disc cd changer, factory 16 x 8 1997 Chrome 5-Star Trans Am wheels, barely used Eagle GS-D3 245/50 tires up front, Nitto DR's (245/50) on the rear w/6.5K. RK Sport Billet grille, paint matched/masked turnsignal, corner, and taillight covers, clear headlight covers, front end recently repainted/repaired from dog accident ...buckets are painted with the rest of the nose, looks much better than stock ...very good quality paint job. Brakes recently replaced. There is more but those are the important things. This engine was built to handle 9 PSI on pump gas (9.5:1 c.r.) to produce approx 500-525 rwhp. Right now at 6 PSI even w/the little Powerdyne it should make roughly 450 rwhp since these heads flow pretty well and have a custom matched cam (Reed 220/226/112+6/.544/.544). $13,500 obo No pics right now but can provide for serious buyer of course......beautiful car. Should run low 11's at ~118 MPH with the Powerdyne, even better if you'd switch to a higher PSI blower. Car really does have only 44K miles and is in exceptional condition. Considering sale because it's difficult to afford, especially after all of this recent expense.

Anyone else who's interested please either e-mail or post here ....I have a miserably slow internet connection so no PM's please. There is a lot more detail I can go over, plus well over 20K in receipts! The price is slightly negotiable too.

The hub has arrived and the car is running like a champ. Being broken in right now. He says the Nittos light up easily from a roll in 2nd gear;the exhaust note and throttle response are really crisp. I'm having second thoughts about selling it but will still consider it for anyone interested in offering at least close to my asking price. The engine should handle 500 rwhp at more like 8 - 9 PSI from a V2 or V1 ...the oilpan is already prepped for a sc w/oil line. Geez, I'm really looking forward to driving it now ...to be honest.

Dont do it, Charlie......................you'll regret it, period. Sounds like the car is finally the way you've wanted it (and how long has it taken you to get it there???), dont go selling it now. Save up for a 12 bolt and enjoy the car dangit!! You and I both know you'll never find a nicer LT1 car, especially one that's only got 44K on it (and a SUPERCHARGER!!!). I say keep it!

I probably won't but if someone offers me pretty close to what I'm asking I will. Any mods on the way for that LS1? How are you liking it overall? The Z will be how I really want it when it has a V2 w/aftercooler and a 12-bolt. Quite a bit of expense away from it yet. It will still be a lot of fun w/the PD and 10-bolt anyway but I won't be doing any dragging w/slicks. Take it easy man.

No, no mods as of yet, but I'm seriously considering a lid and cat-back for right now. I'm loving the car, runs strong and feels tight, the higher mileage doesnt seem to be affecting power whatsoever. I just got back from Tennessee (horse auction) and we got nearly 27mpg on the way down and that was with my dad ******* the crap out of it! But for now, I figure the lid/cat-back combo should wake it up nicely and give it a healthier sound as well. I'll probably go with a Magnaflow cat-back, only for the fact that it's stainless steel and decently priced (I cant afford to be buying anymore Borla systems!). Well, as always, best of luck with the car, whatever you decide to do. Later bro!

Joe.
