96 z28 vs 99+ mustang gt

I raced my friends dads 99+ manual mustang gt last night from a stop. Raced to about 80. I had him by about 3 or so cars. Mines an auto with the 3.23 gears, with only mods being a loudmouth and a FIPK. I was worried it would have been closer than that. We both spun decently hard, I spun through into 2nd gear... and it bogged a little after it stopped spinning. None the less it was a good race. He was stock.

We were both on snow tires lol I don't think either one of us will ever exceed 80 on these snow tires... they make the car feel like crap, in both the mustang and the z. Probably spun to 50ish or so MPH

No surprise here...w/ your couple mods and those 323's stock GTs shouldnt be a problem. Good Kill
