'94 Firebird, 383ci stroker, Moser 12-bolt, $5800

Hey guys, I'll tell you the story on the car first and then give you all the technical info I have on it. I purchased the car (1994 Firebird Formula) about two months ago with the intentions of turning into a wicked fast sleeper. However, a few weeks ago I burned up the 3-4 clutchpaks in the JW Performance 700R4 transmission, so it is going to need a rebuild. I really can't spend the money right now to rebuild the transmission since I am supposed to be saving money for college right now and I have already put way more money into the car than I should have. So I figured I would see if I could sell it as is to try and get a little money back out of it. I will start by honestly listing the problems that the car has and then get to the good stuff.

Imperfections:

- The car has lived in Florida all it's life, so the original paint is faded in places and will need a fresh coat.
- Also a victim of the Florida sun is the dash which is cracked in a few places.
- Finally, the speedometer is innacurate due to the transmission change, as is the odometer. The odometer reads 97K, which is probably about 5-7K too high since it turns too fast.
- As mentioned in the opening, the 3-4 clutches in the transmission are burnt up, so first and second are fine, but third and fourth cannot be used.
- Car was originally a manual and still has clutch pedal

Thats about it for the problems, now for the good stuff :

- These are expensive tires with virtually no wear

As you can see a lot of work and money have gone into this car (but mostly just money ) But I am not trying to pass it off as anything that it's not. As you can tell from the description this car has some transmission problems and needs some cosmetic TLC. That said, this car is an amazingly fast street car. It has run low twelve's with an ailing transmission, absolutely NO traction, and on street tires. With a little bit of work this car has a LOT more potential to be realized. The only reason I have to sell it is because I need the money with college coming up in the fall. As for a price, the first 5,300 takes it. The receits for the engine parts only and Moser are more than that. There is a LOT of money in the car, but I need to get what I can out of it right now. Vehicle is located in central North Carolina. Sorry about the long post and thanks for looking.

It seems as a great car. It sucks that you have to get rid of it. Well good luck selling it.
