i am staying here for the next 2-3 months, and was wondering what kinda crowd there is over here , and what to do? have seen quite a few around here that looked good but , where do u guys hang out? are there any type of meets over here?

Hey man sorry I never got back to you on PM. I've been sick this whole week, and haven't been on the board much. Did you get your car fixed?

As for the Daytona scene there really isn't too much of one. Some people hang out at Bellaire Plaza on Thursday nights I believe, but I wouldn't call it any sort of "meet". I know there are a number of guys from Embry Riddle that meet up occasionally, but I never really take part in that since I'm not a student. Those are really the only 2 options that I know of. I don't know too many people around town that have f-bodies or other performance related cars. If you end up finding anything let me know...lol.

 

yeah i got to the embr riddle meet a lil too late the other nite! as i was pulling in there were 3 lt1's, a black 03 cobra, and a few other v8's. then as i parked there was one silver firebird lt1 and a lightning. then the rest were imports. adn they all left like 20 minutes later cuz it was too cold! i am goin to try bellaire tonite and see what happens. if anyone wants to join let me know! lol

 

yeah im from daytona. Lets see now. on Wednesdays i think the FLSCC meets at Steak & Shake on ISB at around 7 or 8. On thursdays they, the riddle Muscle car club and the sport compact club, meet behind the Embry Riddle campus. If you arent familiar with this place go north on Clyde Morris when you come to the light at Richard Petty Blvd. take a right not a left which would take you towards the airport and riddle. we meet there around 10 and then either go eat or cruise or some race. Fridays usually belair plaza and on Saturdays its Action Performance, or at least it used to be there around 10, and then do something.

last night around 9:30 i passed through bellaire and it was all srt4's and a few dsm's. so i kept goin and made my way to action which there wasnt a soul there! so i headed back to bellaire and ended up running into some people that i used to know. a v6 97 pulled in then a 94 lt1 pulled in. both of them pretty much said there isnt much here then 2 foxbody's pulled in and i went and bs'd with them, they were pretty cool! i ran the slower one , which they both had nitto d/r's, and he took me by a car out of the hole then added another half to that then it was a stale mate afterwards.
anyway there isnt much here to do, i cant wait to get back to orlando!
