Where to go for higher speed driving in East orlando?
Where to go for higher speed driving in East orlando?
Jsut wanna do some test in the range from 85-100 mph... (trying out some tests if its worht it to **** at teh track or not.
where do you guys reccomend, I wanna do a few back to back runs, I am weary of the highways, I like to do it out to avalon but lots of cops out there and I am always worried an animal will pop out.
Decent place where I can speed up and slow down a few times in the 85-100 mph area, just wanna try some stuff out before I hit up the track.
thanks.

Well when me and my friends play around we go to university 85-100 is really not going to be going that fast when you think about it. Or when we wanna run we go get loose on 417 going torwards lake mary

ehh... no thanks... I prefer a less populated area, mainly by the fact that cops are in populated areas, and not looking for a doubling the speed limit ticket....

I coudl see dong 100 on it, late at night, but not a great road to do it on though, there are lots of cops around, little harder to detect radar since my detector picks up that radar thing n front of that private school for like a mile in east and west of it.
I just did a 408-417 north-I4 West-408 East... Route, lot of cops on I4 though.
did what I wanted to see, I think I am going to ignore what people say and try shifting into 4th down the 1/4.

There is a street sign that broadcasts radar 24/7, it only displays your speed during certain times of the day but it broadcasts radar 24/7. Its near University and dean and I pick it upt at ~University and alafaya.
Valentine 1 is a nice detector(my dad has it in the vette) but its not smart enough to differentiate a signpost broadcasting radar form an actual cop with a radar gun.

Eric, this is why I love it out here. The Sebring Racetrack is in my back yard, I can test and tune about any time the mood stikes me. Funny thing is I remember back when the area around you guys was so desolate, that was one of my proving grounds.
