BUYER BEWARE! Electronbluec3 is a bad seller!
Buyer beware! DO NOT BUY from Hughes Burrow known as 25thTransAm on LT1 tech com, LS1 tech com, MFBA and as Electronbluec3 on Camaroz28.com. He had an ebay item listed on some of these sites for what the said was a “barely used” and “in really good condition” SLP 2OTL “muffler exhaust.” After I had purchased the item, I sent an email to him inquiring about the condition and there was no response. I asked for pictures, no response. I asked what all came with the muffler since it said “muffler exhaust”, inquiring if it had the tail pipes, no response. The only emails that there was a response to was about the payment, which I made promptly. When I received the muffler, it had been cut on the inlet end, back so much that the muffler shop that was to install it said that it needed an extension welded if I was going to clamp the muffler, which I was planning on doing, the outlets were also cut and out of round that will make it more difficult to mount properly. This is all on a supposedly like new muffler with 300 miles! I sent an email to Hughes requesting to send the muffler back for a refund, which he replied, there are no refunds. I told him about the condition of the muffler and he replied that the outlets must have been damaged during shipment and that I would need to file a claim for UPS. He went on to say that the people at the shop that I was going to install it were liars and that the muffler was fine. He explained to me that the money had already been spent and that he had no money to give me. So now I am stuck with a POS muffler that I am going to have to pay to have welding done on it just so that I can get it to mount on the over the axle pipe. Just beware of this buyer, he will not return your emails unless it is about the money and don’t expect any photos or responses. BEWARE!

Hope this doesn't come off as too harsh, but....
that's why you ask questions BEFORE you buy something.
Also, I'm sure the muffler is fine, you bid on a muffler, not tail pipes, at least from what I can gather.

Re: BUYER BEWARE! Electronbluec3 is a bad seller!
h shouldnt have to get stuff welded cause the muffler had been cut up....i do agree he should have asked questions first.....but then he was bidding on a like new muffler with 700 miles on it too....if you paid by paypal, you could go through the resolution center and ask for a refund....paypal is pro-buyer and will get you refunded or suspend him from being able to use paypal anyfurther...if you didnt use paypal you can also go through ebay itself and file a complaint....
good luck and thanks for the warning

When it said "muffler exhaust" I figured it was the muffler and tail pipes, but yes, I jumped the gun on the purchase but he was not honest.

Re: BUYER BEWARE! Electronbluec3 is a bad seller!
First off, the muffler is perfectly fine. I had a professional install it and remove it from my exhaust system. The auction clearly stated that it was for the muffler and not for the entire exhaust system. Next time I will remember to specify each and every little detail for people like him because of the crap it makes you have to deal with. If you had been a smarter buyer you would have first contacted the seller before purchasing or putting a bid on anything. That is a known fact on ebay. If you had asked me if this exhaust had been welded on then I would not have lied to you one bit. It was in fact welded on by one of the best tube benders in my city. It is rediculous that specualte and make false accusations about something that you made the mistake on. You assumed you were getting something that you weren't and that is your fault.

Re: BUYER BEWARE! Electronbluec3 is a bad seller!
PS: The only email you ever sent me was to ask what all came with it. That was clearly stated in the auction that it was for the muffler only. I have had nothing but good experiences with everyone I buy/sell with. It sounds kinda fishy that you are trying to drag my name through the mud so you can get everyone to feel sorry for you.

Re: BUYER BEWARE! Electronbluec3 is a bad seller!
Bad seller? I have had no problems with Hughes at all. I bought a ring and pinion set, TA girdle, and stud/install kit and everything was smooth and easy. Everything came perfectly packaged and it even arrived way sooner than I thought it would have. Hughes has my vote as a good seller.

I have to side with the seller here as far as the buyer not asking questions before the sale being his own fault. But I am curious as to why a ~700 mile muffler would have been welded on in the first place?
Sounds like the buyer didn't do his homework beforehand, and is upset about it now. At this point I think the seller is pretty much in his right to deny a refund.....I could be wrong though, and I'm basing that solely on what is presented here. There could be more to this than we all are aware of.....

Re: BUYER BEWARE! Electronbluec3 is a bad seller!
I have tried out several different exhaust systems in the past and have had new pipes made almost each time, especially when I got long tubes. The only muffler that I ever had bolted onto my exhaust was a magnaflow but from then I went with a 3" custom bent exhaust that was always welded. I don't see why this is turning into such a big deal. It would cost him no more than $20 to have it welded on or there could even weld on a longer piece that will allow him to bolt it on. I offered him some cash to have it fixed but this is the reply that I get....

Re: BUYER BEWARE! Electronbluec3 is a bad seller!
What exactly were you expecting? He sold a muffler and you got a muffler. Get out your dremel and quit complaining. Plus whoever made the 'why was a ~700 mile muffler welded,' what does the mileage have to do with whether or not it was welded? I had my 0 mile muffler welded when I bought it...
People jump the gun on a purchase and they think they have room to whine and complain. Quit dragging peoples names through the mud.

Re: BUYER BEWARE! Electronbluec3 is a bad seller!
Thanks a ton guys! I don't need my name dragged through the mud for him being an idiot and expecting something that it was not going to be. Now I have to take action with Ebay to get the negative feedback he left me removed. I can take action there because he is destroying my name and character on Ebay for HIS mistake.
