I don't think the 350's came with a manual...?

I may be wrong.

I searched for years and never found a 5 speed 350 Iroc-Z . I think the 305ci were the only five speed optioned unless there were a few custom ordered.

Yup, the 350 only came with the auto...lots of people have since installed 5 speeds though. You can get more details/help from the Southern California 3rd gen club...I know at least one guy on there has a 5-speed in his.

A 305 5 spd is no joke. Mighty fun and it'll suprise you if you've never driven one before.

Re: WTB Iroc Z T-tops, Manual 350

Yes, they made them. I found the vin code for it when I was doing some thirdgen research. They were only made in 1989 but I have no idea how many were produced.

1989 VIN SUFFIXES are as follows:

AAD: 173cid, uu
ATA: 305cid, mt
AWK: 350cid, at
AAF: 173cid, uu
ATB: 305cid, mt
AXY: 173cid, uu
ABL: 173cid, uu
ATF: 305cid, at
ZRA: 350cid, mt
AKH: 305cid, mt
ATM: 305cid, at
ZRB: 350cid, at
AKJ: 305cid, at
AWA: 305cid, at
ZRC: 350cid, at

Abbreviations: at=automatic transmission, cid=cubic inch displacement, mt=manual transmission, uu=uncertain usage, VIN=vehicle identification number

Good luck in your search,
Colin
