12 Second Ram Air Formula ...only $5000!
This car has many mods and a strong runner! 8.11 through the 1/8 mile. This is roughly 12.67 @ 109 through the quarter.
1994 Firebird Formula, white exterior and gray cloth interior. It is a T-top car. The interior is stock, except for an aftermarket CD player. The exterior is stock except for the Suncoast Predator Ramair hood and the 1998 Z28 5 spoke wheels. The tires are Goodyear Eagles and have approximately 6000 miles on three of them...one has around 16000 miles on it.
The entire drivetrain is fresh and in good shape. The engine has around 5000 miles on it since the rebuild.
The engine has the following mods:
Freshly rebuilt shortblock with std bore and stock 4.000" flat top pistons
Comp Cams 07-305-8 camshaft and double roller timing chain
276/290 220/230 .510/.510 114LS
Ported Factory LT1 heads with fresh valvejob and Comp Cams guideplates, valvesprings, locks and retainers
Comp Cams pushrods
1.5 ratio aluminum roller rockers
Aftermarket airfoil in throttle body
Taylor spiral wound plug wires
Vented Opti Conversion
New OptiSpark distributor
1LE inlet duct
K&N cold air induction
New ceramic coated Pacesetter full length headers.
Flowmaster muffler
Catalytic converter removed
TCI mini starter
CVR electric water pump
New battery
Radiator was rodded out and new end gaskets installed
TCI rebuilt 4L60E transmission and TCI shift kit.
TCI 3000 stall 10" torque converter. The trans and converter have around 120 miles on them. I installed the transmission and converter on 8/6/04. It also has a new TCI SFI approved flexplate and an aluminum driveshaft out of an '02 LS1 car.
Rear gears have recently been replaced with 3.23 gear and a fresh posi unit.
The instrument cluster was replaced with a 155 mph speedo version.
The computer has been reprogrammed to accomodate the 3.23 gears and to eliminate the factory speed limiter.
New brake rotors all around. New inner and outer tie rod ends. One new O2 sensor. New tint on windows. The AC still blows cold. The car runs great and is very strong. Click the link for pics.

I live in Falkner, MS...about 45 miles southeast of Memphis, TN. I'll take $5000 obo for it.

Re: 12 Second Ram Air Formula ...only $5000!
Rock,
The body has over 150000 miles on it.
It's a stock bottom end.
It hasn't been dyno tuned. There's still some et left with just a good tune.
The interior is in pretty good shape...no torn seats...just normal wear and tear.
One other thing...it has a stock factory CD player...not an aftermarket.
Thanks for looking.
Kevin

The instrument cluster was replaced with a 155 mph speedo version.
The speed limiter was also removed.

Re: 12 Second Ram Air Formula ...only $5000!
I am was reading on your website and it says
"with some port matched factory heads and a Comp Cams 304 camshaft with matching valvesprings."
http://www.geocities.com/bad79z28/formula.html
So does it have the cc304 or cc305 cam? did you switch them out?
Also you said on here it has Ported heads, on your site you said it has port matched heads?
please explain,
Thanks,

Re: 12 Second Ram Air Formula ...only $5000!
Rock,
My website has the specs for last year. For this season, I decided to upgrade to the CC 305 cam, ported heads and full roller rockers. I've already sold the CC 304 cam...thanks to camaroz28.com. I wanted something that hit a little harder
Thanks for your interest.
