11.90@130 no spray and letting off before end of track
So my firtst pass of this year and not full throttle as it was my first time on slicks. Crap time (60 foot) was 2.19 OUCH! Don't bother flaming as I kgot it already.

11.9@130 again with letting off end of track as I was blinded by the light. Unfortunely I only got one run in as they shut the track down due to oil on it. Dang. I did race a Suzuki 900 something or other and killed it He gave me a thumbs up. I let him go ahead of me and I still pulled on him like a fat kid on a smartie. So nice to have 620 horses!! Oh! and of course the 651 TQ

This was no intercooler spray either Simple boost. Goal is 10's for next year.

Duane

Thanks for chiming in.

PS: After all day on the dyno and trying to figure out fuel issues and such we barley made it to the track. One run is better than none I guess.
We changed a fule filter that was clogged with led. Yes from the C16 as the K&N filter picked it up

Nice! That's actually a fairly typical Turbo'd Supra ET to MPH ratio you got going on there. I'm sure with practice you'll be cutting tenth's off though.

Congrats on not breaking anything.

Not this year as I am going to the big Supra show tomorrow. I am driving to Vegas !!

I knew the comment was coming with " typical Supra 1/4" thingy

I ran 12.5@122 last year on bald street tires. The slicks were something I just ran with to keep traction in changing of gears. I actually lauched better with street tires

I did some tuning myself today for some small bugs and runs even better...

10's is my goal. You will soon see

Thanks for the props guys I am still happy as this was my first and only pass with that set-up. Turbo lag is a lil and then BANG! hits like a ton of briks. I love it!

And it was not meant to be condescending or insulting in any way. I posted a very reasonable statement,,,, that is all. I'm sorry you're so easily offended. It's not like I was bashing your car or your times. You only made one run and you obviously have traction/suspension issues to work out.

And don't think you're special just because you own a turbo'd Supra. If anyone on this board ran an 11.90 @ 130 mph, don't think for a second they wouldn't get drilled at least a little on traction issues and/or driving skills,,, turbo, or no turbo...... Fact of the matter is, if it can't hook, it's going to continue to get beat by cars with far less hp.

Good luck with your car man, I'd like to hear about it running 10's! <<<----NOT MEANT TO BE SARCASTIC OR CONDESCENDING IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM.

Hey Jason,

Sorry dude as I am not on the board to often. old thread. (Best wy to get a hold of you) How is the car anyway?

Lets race and why not as we have before

Duane

Got the car running a lil better and now to do it over. Adding some small parts for better top end and doing some suspension mods this winter to help things out.

NOTE: I am not being "sensitive" I am tired of people saying "what's the difference between a 600 and 400 hP Supra" blah blah blah it always happens and that's the best people come up with. It just gets old that's all. I am not out to be the fastest. I couldn't care if a Mustang/Camaro beat me as I am there for fun anyway.

Heck, I bet you can search supras here and most of the time the chat is all bashing. Mine is nothing special as it is the under dog (not an MKIV Fast and Furious style) and I like it that way. I had a 12'.0 second cutlass and recently sold it (street tires) and am on both sides when it comes to cars and power. I love domestics and some imports.

I dosn't matter what you drive or if you can beat them or not. Some of them are going to bash on your car cause because its a non-GM product.

hey good to hear from you duane, the car is coming along pretty well, hope to be done in feb-march. its a shell of what it used to be, redesigned from the ground up, brand new motor, tranny, rearend, chassis, suspension, tons of goodies, its running a ladder bar/coilover rear suspension now.

should be decent when its done, motor is done pretty much at the machine shop now, picking it up in a week or 2. cant wait, its getting closer now. then in jan its off to the machine shop again to put it on the dyno and break it in and tune it. gonna sauce it on the dyno too cant wait

Hey Jason! Drop me a line if your gonna hit the dyno? SNK'S? I guess? That is where I would go. I am planning on hitting the dyno as well once I do my few changes in a few months. I hate this addiction Gets expensive...

Sounds like your car is gonna be one bad *** beat What times you aiming for?
