Help Sounds like a deal? Chrome c5's

Well my buddy is getting my friends camaro. He doesn't want the chrome c5 rims that were on there.

The rims were of my friends vette. So they are 17's front 18's back.

He wants to trade my my wheels for his. and he wants 400 bucks.

Now my rims and tires are then chrome 97 5 spokes. And they have near brand new tires on them ( maybe 3,000 miles on them) They are
kumho esta supra's 712
255's all around.

Now the c5 rims needs new tires but still have thread.

If i were to trade him mine with basically brand new tires for the c5 in that shape what would you think would be a even trade and what do you think would be a GOOD trade for me?

Also how much are the c5 rims worth? And how much are mine worth?

There are lots of your style rims out there, so I wouldn't say that they are worth too much. On the other hand you have new tires, and he doesn't like his rims. Granted his are worth more than yours, but look at the business side of it. He doesn't like his rims, and you are going to have to buy tires again soon. So it's going to end up costing you $1000 or so. Granted, that is still a cheap price for rims and tires, but I think you can use logic to talk him down.

If he is a friend you don't want to create bad blood over a set of wheels. Let him have a voice but I would think giving him up to $100 would be fair. You get better looking rims with less rotating weight, better accelaration and braking, and new tires of your choice.

Yea I'm not trying to create bad blood or anything. He just wants my style of wheels. He is getting the c5 rims and the stock rims that came with the car though. I'll just see if i can buy the rims from him for 400 bucks since thats what hes paying for them since hes buying them with the car and I'll try to find him a set of wheels like mine.

How much do you think a set like mine would run?
