Mr Clean car washing kit

Not sure if anyone has seen this advertised, but its like a little gun you connect to your hose and it uses a special soap solution and what not. Anyways they claim that you just wash your car and it air dries without any water spots. Water spots are a huge problem for me with a dark colored car. So I gave this a shot yesterday. The kit was 19.95 at Walmart and they gave you a little sample soap soplution that does 3 washes. The regular size ones do 10 washes and are $10. So my car was a little extra dirty so I soaped her down using my gun and then used my cotton mit and scrubbed the car down. I then used the rinse and rinsed all the soap off and then switched the gun to final rinse. It runs your water through a filter and takes all the minerals out of it, and I'll be damned if my car didn't air dry with absolutly no water spots what so ever without me even touching it. So to make sure this wasn't a fluke I did the Corvette and got the same results. This thing actually works and the hasle of not having to dry the car and still ending up with water spots makes it worth every penny!!!

i don't use the mr clean autodry soap because it strips the wax off of the car, but the autodry portion is awesome!

Where did you get this information? It's a car wash soap. So it's going to do the same job as any other car wash soap you can buy.

Wash weekly, wax every month or two.

Gotta keep it clean, right?

I want to know as well.

In fact, straight from the website's FAQ :

Does it leave a film behind? Does it affect the polish or the wax?
Mr. Clean AutoDry doesn't leave behind a film, just a thin layer of the Dry Rinse Polymer molecules that are replenished each time the car gets washed. These do not strip the wax, or harm the paint or clearcoat in any way.
