This is actually a good point. Peak #'s mean nothing, its the curve that you need and the rest of the combination. But anyway, back to the thread now.

Well...in that case I can help out with that too
This is the latest one, need to update a few parts:
http://paradox.shacknet.nu/dave88lx/formula/383/383.htm
Depending on the year of your car some parts may be different. (Gaskets & seals)

Nice spreadsheet and information, Dave. Your list represents the 'reality' of all the little things that tend to add up fast. Throwing a lot of parts at that car at once. Should run great, and it looks like you did your homework.
Didn't see the valvesprings accounted for though? Probably in another line item.

383 stroker. AFR 190cc heads, 6" rods, bored .040 over, so it's actually a 386 rather, or close to it. Dimond pistons, milled heads, and ported intake, 285cfm at .550 288 @~.600
Dynoed 396.6 @ 6050rpm and 396fptq @ 4900rpm on a Mustang Dyno, or about 420rwhp on a dyno jet.
Custom ground cam.

Thanks man, I learned this game can dollar you to death!
It's easy to say "Aww, crank, rods, pistons and I'm set, but the reality of it is once you jump in, you start going overboard, you need support equipment, you decide you want to do things a little different, do things the right way", and it adds up quick!
I don't really have the valvetrain stuff up there, I haven't updated it since I talked to Phil last, but I'm running Comp 977 springs and Titanium retainers
I'll have to update that list, thanks for making me get on it.

Gripenfelter Can you remove GAIN
Could you please remove GAIN installer from your homepage. IMO worst piece of adware / spyware out there. Looks like you got a nice page but GAIN made me run like the wind.

Sorry about Gain. No way to remove it. Its part of Fortunecity.com
You don't need to install Gain and you shouldn't! lol
Just click cancel.
Ignore the dyno video on the page. Thats crank hp from a previous setup.
