exhaust
exhaust
i've been looking at aftermarket exhaust... and i noticed that they seem to have where the muffler bolts on.. a Y pipe.. with a pipe that goes straight out the back.. and the other part goes to the muffler... this doesn't make sense to me... wouldn't more of the exhaust go through the pipe rather than the muffler? i hope someone understands what i mean LOL... just curious.. thanks.

That little 'Y-Pipe' before the muffler has plates with different diameter holes in it, from no hole, to completely open 3" I think. It makes it easy to run it through the muffler for quietness, and straight pipes/no muffler for loud performance...make sense?
oooook got it now... at some point i'm gonna get a cutout... and get an electric motor for it so i don't have to cap it and uncap it.
but that's down the road.. payments are too much right now LOL
