Here's the Unofficial results summary from Ls1tech thread http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showth...&page=5&pp=20:
10. 10.00 Brian Clarke driving a blue Nova
9. 9.99 Tom Hunsucker in a black Hemi 'Cuda
8. 9.95 Chris Johnson in a 1969 Camaro
7. 9.85 Mel Graham in a 1969 Camaro
6. 9.83 Jim Pravis in a black 1968 Hemi Charger
5. 9.76 Kevin Zasky in a black 1969 twin-turbo Hemi Charger
4. 9.70 Mike Thompson in a red S10 pickup with a 357 SBC
3. 9.58 Ray Doti in a red turbo Nova
2. 9.47 John Cunningham in a white Nova with a N/A BBC
1. 9.45 Ken Close in a 1934 Ford coupe with a BBC
The top dog was Robert Schmidt in a beautiful white '66/'67 BBC stick-shift Chevelle that averaged 9.40.
I believe these are their three run hot lap averages. So some impressive runs and driving on pump gas. Congrats to everyone that was selected for the event. Solid showing for the black 1969 twin-turbo Hemi Charger we saw up at 1BADLS1/Hardcore Motorsport last weekend.
Sounds like they had a great event down there. Looking forward to hearing from our local guys on their results, pics and clips.
Have a safe trip home everyone.
Rick

That charger was badass. Didn't run the numbers I expected though.
For the record there was a couple guys who had some bad luck that would have made that list of results look like a joke. Ray Doughty (in the red turbo efi nova) ran a 9.12 and backed it up with a 9.08, but broke on the third run. The blue chevelle (67 I believe) was short shifting the first 2 gears and hitting third by the 300 ft mark (due to traction) and was STILL runnin 9.0x until he broke and couldn't run the third pass. There was a guy in a 68 vette with blue stripes that ran three perfect 9.1x passes, but unfortunately on the way to the track his ignition box got hot and cutout, which made him fall behind the chase vehicle. When that happened, it was a DQ, though they still let him run.
Some wild rides there. The Datsun 240z was an animal lifting the tires 4 feet in the air TWICE on the same run before crossing the center line... the 34 Ford lifting the nose high enough that his back bumper dragged and scooped rubber off the pavement, etc
What a great show!
Transamtom here hijacking Dans Computer.
Nice meeting you Mike and Dave,I had a great time, also a big thanks to Dan for letting me stay at his place.
It was also nice to run into a few people I have not seen in a while and also to meet some more people from the board.
At least they got the racing in,it would have been a huge bummer if it did not go.

Dan here--
I believe Roman was running low 11's while Taner was mid 10's on all of their runs. Very consistent, IIRC, while most of the competitors were all over the place in terms of E/T.
They were running quite respectable--- Excellent showing, clean runs.
