Nitto 555R's are genrally hailed as the best sticky tire yet streetable. I thikn BFGs have trouble in the rain. Not to mention they dont last nearly as long as the Nittos although they are a little stickier.

My old SZ50 Firehawks were great both on the track and in the rain.

I have been running the Kumho Ecsta MX for a while now - and I am loving them. They are very sticky and are much much better than their Supra 712 predecessors.

18" - under $600 shipped from Tirerack.com.

My old tires were Goodyear HP ultra-plus. I used them for 40K miles and they drove great in the rain but I didn't get great traction at the track. Now I have Goodyear F1's which are rated high in rainy conditions and have great traction. I got them for $183 a piece at discount tire direct.

Nitto 555r's are about the best. I can tell you comp TA and eagle GSC are 2 of the least sticky. They just melt!

I have Hankook K104's Great traction at the track. Awesome driveability... just as good if not better than the eagle f1's I used to have.
Good in the rain! even treated me very well in a light snow when it snuck up on me one day.
