Broken Sphon TA (Pictures [Site back up])

I don't blame Sphon at all, infact I think they make a great product.

But, sometime during the winter, I started getting a strange vibration in the car. I put off looking at it until this weekend and this is what happened (on my low traction winter tires I might add... I put my SZ50's on also today, that's why you see one in the background):

I hope they have a good policy on replacing this sort of thing.

I tossed them and email, I'll let you guys know what happens. Maybe the low of -10 celcius we hit this winter was too cold.

Wow already, impressive, I'll shrink the pictures and reupload them. Sorry about that folks.

Okay the pictures are now terrible quality, but only 77k a pop, so once the account is unlocked in an hour or so it'll be gtg.

(And Brent I'm sorry I didn't see the new forum rules until after I posted)

Not enough that it should cause that. It's just a 9.5:1 CR 383 LT4 with a CC305, no boost yet.

Okay I now know why it broke and the replacement is reasonably priced ($25 as of today).

The forward topside bolt had started to back out on me. I was just advised by the tech to use red loctite... the people that installed it used something the first time around (there was something on the threads) but it was not red loctite.

This 'issue' can only happen on the Moser diffs because they remove the 2 stock long bolts that go through the diff and replace them with 4 inch and a half long threads in the diff (and bolts to match).

Doesn't take much to brake a TA, I've managed to do it, even my roommate on an Edelbrock TA
