Inexpensive shock/spring package

I am not at all into Auto X or road racing but would like a better than stock ride. I am going to swap the front tires on my car to 245/45/17's to help with the car jumping around of=n road ruts and grooves and would like a somewhat comfortable ride quality. I would like a little lower ride height, thus I am thinking about the DMS springs. What would be a good INEXPENSIVE shocjk setup for these? Thanks,

Kyle

I was gonna go Bilstein but the prices are very high....Just about $100 a strut/shock if not more. I found Tokiko has a real good kit that is competitive with Bilstein and for under $500 you get all 4 shocks/struts and lowering springs (1.5" i think) which are Eibach springs so i hear.

Xride,
How much are you asking for your setup? Also, how many miles are on them? Thanks,

Kyle

didnt mean to highjack this thread, but I hope everyone that asked got a PM or email from me, if not, hit me up.
The springs/shocks are from a 96, 59k KM (~34k miles) any warranty has long run out.

Sam strano sells a set of Bilstein HDs for $330. However I got mine for $324 shipped from Bimmperts.com with their e-bay auction. I believe another set or two is still being sold from them.

Eibach pro-kits are also very reasonably priced.

The cheapest moderately ok shocks you can buy are the KYB AGX adjustables.

if you go with Koni sa you can save money and buy a much better shock. With these shocks you can lower the front of the car about an inch more 3/4", with out buying springs. spring along are 330 from summit and that is about the same for the front shocks. then run revalved bilsteins in the rear. This will run you 600 bucks for a set of 4 shocks. Which will kick butt on anything else you can buy for the money you are spending. You can still lower the car without springs with this setup!!!

Talk to Sam Strano at strano parts for more details; STRANO Performance Parts

not bad

i bought MAC Lowering Sport Springs for $200. Bought Monroe Sensatrac shocks and struts from Pep Boys for $180 total. Then paid a speed shop $120 to install. $500 out the door and the camaro looks great! lowered and handles 10X better than the stock setup. (I also have SFCs and BMR STB), but was well worth it
