no more hi-lighting viewed topics?
Why dont the topics that you viewed show up in red anymore? Not a big problem, but it was nice to see were you have been and potentially posted.

The icons on the left of each thread subject actually work now, and they display your status of the thread. There is a legend as to what hey mean at the bottom of the board. The icons with a dot in them means you have posted in it.

The highlights are helpful though.

No way. I like the new icons much better. Not only can you tell if you've posted there, you can also tell if there are any new replies. Also I like the quicklinks to go to the first new post, and the very last post.

It helps to know what you've read and what you haven't even if you didn't post to it.

and to that I say... If there is a letter sticking out of the little envelope, you haven't read it, or parts of it. if the envelope is closed, you have.

Yea, but it is nice to see the ones you have already opened and read, as well as if there are new posts in that thread. As it is now, you can only tell if there are new posts, regardless of whether or not you have opened it or not.

The little envelopes don't work for me. The envelope is the before and after I view a topic. I see the different envelopes for the views/replies but they don't change when I view them.
I do notice that if I close a browswer window then open it back up there will be the red down arrows for all the new messages. Not messages I haven't read but rather messages that are new since the last time I opened that forum. For example, the first 20 topics might have this red arrow but then the rest don't.
So, I don't see how I can tell at a glance what topics I've already viewed? I have cookies turned on and everything?
I can see which topics I've posted in by the dot on the envelope but that's it. Can you other guys actually tell which ones you just VIEW? If so, how???

I really wish you guys would just bring back the highlights. It gets kinda annoying without them.
