Post 110 vs 112 LDA?

Other than a rougher idle is there any benifit to have the same cam ground on a 110 vs 112? Also will I be able to run NOS with a 110 LDA? I dont have it right now but am looking at it. The cam I'm going to get is the XE230/236. Also if you guys have any comments on the cam or a cam with either LDA I would appreciate it.

Thanks

I think you are refering to LSA Lobe Seperation Angle.

Each has its own benifit, so you choose based on your application. Usually n/a guys will choose a 112 or 110 lsa which increases overlap. Forced Induction and N2O guys will usually run a 114 or wider lsa cam which decreases overlap.

For some really detailed info check this thread:

But since your question is general in nature i will move this over to LT1 Tech.
