You might want to post this on the V6 board to see what they have done. You might also want to go to LT1 Tech and do a search on "carb conversions" because those threads will highlight the key issues like fitting the distributor under the cowl, and getting a hood to clear the carb/intake.
You need to be a liitle more specific in what you plan to use the car for (street, track, combination) and which engine platform you are considering (Gen 1 or Gen II) since this determines which transmissions will fit, what you need to do to accomodate the carb, what to do about the competer, etc. The airbags are the least of your worries. Get a 4th Gen F-Body manual like a Chilton's... the deactivation and removal procedure is covered there.
In general, you are making at least two mistakes, if this is a street car:
-unless your 94 V6 has some unusual investment in appearance mods, or some extreme sentimental value, it would be a lot easier and less expensive to sell the V6 and buy a 4th Gen that already has a V8. Your V6 chassis lacks a positraction rear axle, probably lacks rear wheel disc brakes, will need beefier springs, may need the radiator swapped to handle the reverse flow cooling if you are thinking LT1, etc.
-you will never pass any sort of emissions (rolling or visual) with a carb'd motor, gas mileage will suck, access to the distributor will be impossible, plugs will foul, etc.
Now if its a track setup you are after, and you are just using your current car as a "donor" car for the body, it might be a little different.
But you need to clarify what your intent is with regard to the conversion. I suspect this sort of thing gets thrashed out daily on the V6 board, and I recommend you repost it there. In fact, I'll help by moving it over there so you don't have to retype it.
