My car was safe and sound in the garage, and I have been at work all night while it was raining! Gotta say it was a good night!

The SS is fine in the garage.. however the HD has adotped the camoflauge look... nice tree branches and leaves. ( No real damage though).
It felt like I was camping out with no power from 9:15pm to 3:00am. Candles are my friends.. (since hubby has decided to hide all the flashlights).

...nice and safe in the garage when all h*ll broke loose last night. Got a call from my son saying that a house a street over caught fire and was burning. I suspect the fire/police/SRP/APS all over were quite busy last night and into this morning.

Unfortunately my car was outside during the rain while we were at a friend's house in North Phoenix. Nothing happened to it except it got dirty driving home at 10:00 last night. And wouldn't you know I had just washed it Saturday morning too!
The tree in our front yard blew down while we were gone too. Didn't hurt it though...I just pushed it back up and pounded the stake back in the ground and it's good to go. Mesquite trees are so resilient!

I just washed the damn car on saturday and everytime I do it's like a rain dance.
Oh well, it's about time we get some rain. I hope this keeps up.
Now I'm going to throw in the trashed K&N and FTRA blockoff plate. Save my powershot.

well..i am just trying to get this engine to last through the summer...once it cools off, i have a new engine to put in it...$700 for a LS1 stroker motor!! includes all harness and everything...the guy i got it from showed me the dyno sheets...over 400 rwhp...he sold it to me cause the car had been stolen and stripped..lol..funny thing is, the crooks left the most valuable part of the car!!!
so, just gotta make this engine last until it hits 80F for me to get out and work!!
Andy
