Please HELP me!
I think Im going to have to sell my car, my dad thinks it'd be a good idea....after I complained about nagging problem I'm having with my car.
Ever since I first washed my car, my drivers side t-top has been leaking. Now its to a point where any water at all causes a waterfall to come into my car. Its so bad that the plastic piece that's connected to the car....on the piller next to the drivers seat has water coming out from it to. The leak is where the window meets the seal of the t-top.
Is there anyway to fix this problem cheap! SANDS Chevy said that my warranty DOES NOT cover it, and if I want a new seal I'd be looking at roughly $450!!!!
If anyone can help me with some ideas, or where I can get it fixed cheap...please do tell.
Should I try to cover this under warranty at a different dealership in the area, like Lou Grubb or something???
Thank you in advance.
Larry

IS it still under factory warranty??
If so it should be covered, other eteended warranties may or may not cover it (all really depends on the warranty).
Try Lou Grubb Arrowhead (91st Ave and Bell).

Good luck,

Its not the original manufacturers warranty. I purchased the car with 40K on it, now it has 45K. I bought GM's extended care package or whatever the hell its called (doesnt matter, it sucks). Sands Chevy doesnt replace crap most of the time, Im always dropping $100 for my deductible.

Just talked to "Wes" over in the parts dept. over @ Lou Grubb and he's not sure what part I need. I would have to go down there with my car to be certain he's looking for the right part.
