Exclamation Left O2 Sensor stuck at 1097mv, even after replacing it

Well, my car has been running like total crap the past few times I have drove it. I hooked up the laptop, and the left O2 sensor is stuck at 1097mv. Doesn't matter whether I just started the car, Open Loop, Closed Loop...its just stuck there.

I replaced the O2 sensor thinking it was faulty. Well, that didn't fix anything. Any ideas as to what is causing this, and how I can fix it. The right O2 sensor is functioning normally.

i guessing that is the top value for O2 readings..same thing happens when you unplug a MAF, it goes to the highest value of 461 or somewhere around there. maybe your O2 isnt plug in completely but you should be getting SES. also something to add to the confusion..i had one of mine unplugged for a day and was watching it on my scanmaster and noticed the 02 mV actually moved around some even when it wasnt there ..got SES too

check wiring?

Exclamation

Well, it is for sure plugged in, and plugged in all the way. No SES light for it either. Tomorrow I'm going to trace the wiring and see if it is shorting out anywhere.

Any other ideas?

if you have access to an o2 simulator maybe you could check to see if it read correctly. Eastwood has a circuit tracer that seems like it would make finding wiring problems easy. Pretty cheap too but I havent used one personally.
