Post ?'s about lowering

I'm looking at getting the eibach lowering kit for my car and some lower control arm relocators. other then having to worry about clearance, has anyone had any positive or negative experiences when doing this, will it help me enough to compensate for the stiffer ride i will get? as it is the car has the bilstein level II suspension package on it and seems to be a pretty firm ride. Thanks
