Life in Virginia?

Hi everyone, I'm moving to Western Virginia this fall. I've heard that everything is illegal in VA.? Also, I'm from FL., is snow a problem there? Thanks, hope to see some f-bodies up there.

well VA is strict. As far as exhaust you arent supposed to have anything thats louder than stock. No radar detectors also...

Where at in western VA will you be? They are pretty strict about things... no radar detectors etc etc like the other guy mentioned

Some cops will let you slide though, all depends on the town.

Blacksburg!
From what I have seen so far I am going to love it. The area is beautiful and the people seem really cool! I can't wait! Besides, I get tired of my radar half the time telling me the door at 7-11 is opening, so that's no big deal. I don't know about my tint. It is legal here in FL and it is just right. We will see.

I lived in Blacksburg for close to a year *wasn't a student* its a pretty nice place. Its definately growing

A couple more years and all the new highways they're building should be complete. The cops there seem to be pretty cool... Never really saw them on the side of the road w/ someone pulled over. I'm about 30 minutes south of there now.

BTW, legal window tint on the sides in VA is 50% I believe, and the rear 35%.

Well - I used to drive a 2001 Cavalier somewhat riced up.... muffler... intake, neons, the usual.

Dont use underbody neons - illegal. If you have a loud exhaust system, you could get pulled by an ass...

But I live in Chesapeake (Southeastern) virginia, so who konws about up there... all I know about up there is that men marry their sisters :P
