Post All teh parts are ordered.. the new rear will be in soon

The 4.10's are sitting here. I just ordered a shim and bearing kit along with a solid pinion spacer. Today I welded the axle tubes to the housing and welded the LCA relocation brackets in place. Now all I have to do is take it apart and change the gears/bearings. Hopefully soon it will be ready and I'll take a Sat afternoon and pull the junk rear out of the car. swap all the little stuff(brake lines and girdle) and toss the new one in. Then its off to the track I go to see if the gigger gear helps at all. I'm hoping to puck up .1 or so with the 4.10's.

Let us know when you head to the track if it's Atco. I can be there with the girlfriend and a camcorder if you want. I just want to see your car run! Good luck!

Well since I posted this I have finally put the rear in the car. I have to go over them again and reset the gears cause they whine like a mo fo... but for now they are good enough to race on. Went to Atco Thursday night and was a little disapointed. Track prep was horrible and I couldnt get it to hook no matter what I did. Best run of the nite was a 1.70 60', 12.22@111. That was with 11psi in the et streets and spinning em thru most of first gear. But it runs thru the traps at 6100rpm... right where I want it so if it hooks and we get some real good air I think it has a shot at some 11.80's. I just might have to step up to a better tire soon, and from what I saw I now know the car needs some suspension work. The weight just doesnt transfer like it should. I'm going to E-town in the morning for the GM EFI event so if for some reason I manage to run any decent numbers I'll post em.

Gas milage? hehehe, lets just say this... it was bad with the 3.73's so now its gonna suck!!!!
