It blew up. Started with 2nd, then 4th, and so on. I need a replacment 6 speed. I can pick up around the DFW area.

If you are interested, J&P Standard Transmissions in College Station will rebuild a T56. They charge $200 for labor + parts. So depending on what they need to replace it could be anywhere from $300 - $800. The expensive part is replacing the gear shafts. I have have sent them 4 other T56's to rebuild and those have had no issues at all as of yet. They usually get about a 2-3 day turnaround. Here is the number if you are interested:

I have a T-56 for sale. It's out of my 95 Z28 and has 64k miles on it. It's in perfect condition and I've never had any problems with it. I'm from just south of Houston and I'm asking $800 for it.

The tranny is complete except for the clutch. I'm also selling the clutch setup. It's a McLeod Street Twin dual disc with less than 2500 miles on it. I'm selling that for $400. The tranny does have some hard miles on it, and some track time, but shifts perfectly and like I said, no problems at all.
