One of my buddies just bought a 1996 red trans am with around 42,000 miles from a local pontiac dealer, Triboro Pontiac in South Jersey. I was just wondering if anyone had traded it in so they could tell me what was done to it. I know it is moddified, it's loud and sounds great. I just haven't had a chance to look under the hood. I live 2 minutes from TriBoro, and haven't seen a red LT1 Trans Am in this town for a few months. Sorry I cant help much



On a side note, did he have good luck with TriBoro?? I went up there to look when I got my Formula a year ago, and they were dicks when it came to trying to work out a reasonable price.

 

He just got it on saturday, I don't know if it was there long. From what he told me, I would have to say he paid to much, but it was what he wanted I guess. When I was looking for a car I went there too and not only were they not very cool people, but all of thier cars were over priced. I know f-bodies cost a little more in jersey but they were still asking too much for used cars. I know I won't ever buy from them. But to give them some credit, the back tires were bald pretty much on the T/A and they are throwing in a free back set, so that is pretty cool.
