anyone heard of the track being open on sat nights from 10p -2am now?
Heard something on the radio this morning that the owner of OSW wants to help cutdown illegal drag racing. He wants to open the track on Sat nights from 10p to 2am for test and tune..

Yea I got a postcard in the mail from them. Its only on selected night 6/8, 7/6, 8/3, & 9/7. No time slips, no scoreboard. You must drive them in and have mufflers. (don't want to wake up the neighbors I guess.)$15. to run,$10 to look.
I'm waiting for them to have booking agents next

sup jen..
so lemme get this right, the rigorous tech inspection you go through will be checking for mufflers. They make laugh, they never check for helmets, disconnect switches, concealed rear mounted batteries, long pants or cages, you know the safety stuff, but you better have a g'dam muffler. Just making sure i understand

I am assuming the muffler one will be checked, because its obvious when you do nto have one.
Maybe I could get by, I still have a muffler nad I-pipe, jsut not hooked up
Makes a cutout look more and more appealing.

Tey were handing out flyers ronight at the track, I left it in my car though.
they announced no Trailer queens, and they said the quicdkest cars in Central FL will be coming. They said this C4 vette was going to be there tommorrow, he ran a .5XX R/T and a 9.2 in the 1/4, so I would watchout guys.
I might watch or something, but doubtful I will cosnisder running, unless there are normal imports there I most likley will be getting my ass handed to me.

Hey Mike. Are you back in FL. now? I heard a rumor last weekend from Mike and Jeremy that Rich might have a race with Jakes Incon SVO. If they are I just hope Jake cranks up the boost, he's gonna need to.
Later

Maybe a coincidence or maybe not, but Emerald Coast Dragway in Holt is doing the same on the 21st of this month. It's 1/8th mile, but it's the only good track here in the panhandle.
