Angry Surging With Lt1 Dry Kit

Here's the scoop:
NOS #5176 Dry Nitrous kit set at 150shot. 67 N, 59 in the tee

Other mods:
Walbro 255lph FP Inline, and stock pump in-tank
MSD DIGI6, 2 deg timing ret.
kit hooked into WOT switch.

Car wants to surge when nitrous is activated.
I've had this problem for almost 2 months now, and i'm sick of it!

A friend of mine told me that the kit was putting to much strain on the injectors and told me to get aftermarket 24#. I have them but yet to install. He told me the stock injectors were locking shut with the excessive fuel PSI and the car was leaning out, I would agree because what he says makes sense. Has anyone else had this problem with a dry kit or any kit whatsoever? If so, how did you fix it.

Install the aftermarket injectors. Problem gone. Change the fuel bypass jet to 42 while you are at it.

Always change to better (Bosch) style injectors when going with a dry kit!
Personally, I am very happy with my dry kit. It works awesome compared to the NX wet kit my buddy has in his '93 Z. Just jet it up and go.
I felt surging once, when I run the bottle empty during a pass.
BTW, I run a 59N/42F jet (I have the #5115 kit without the fuel pump)

I would not agree that the Bosch is a better injector but I will agree they will take the higher pressure before locking.

I ran My 5176 kit on my stock injecters. Then again I was VERY careful with my Fuel Pressure. NOS was very little help. There are a few running this kit to and PAST tis limits

This kit can be ran to over 175 HP with very few changes Looking over my notes there is 280hp to be had before the nossel is maxed

Swap injectors and get a Fuel Pressure gauge to watch what is going on during a run

Good luck!
