94 Z28 Vs Porsche Boxster

Alright, it was the first kill in a few weeks. I got to a red light and noticed a red sporty car a few cars up, and figured hmm here’s a chance to play some. So the light turns green and it takes me several miles of road to catch up to it, because it was zipping thru traffic at over 85 in a 45 . So I catch up to him at a red light and as he was slowing down, I got in front of him, the light turns green before I could fully come to a stop so I start driving at a medium pace, waiting for him to try to blow bye me. I knew he would because he was another one of those rich guys with a small Weiner in a Porsche trying to act hardcore . So he try’s it like I suspected, I let him get to my door then I punch it, and he gets further and further and further back in my mirror. I then stop it at 100 or so, and he does the good old fly-by. That was today’s action, hope you enjoyed.

W3rd, guy who buys a boxter is compensating for something... now a 911 on the other hand, that shows class. Good kill nonetheless.

boxsters obviously aren't the best value, but they are nice cars and decent performers. take a look at the scca solo II national championships. both the base boxster and the boxster s are top choices in their class.

with that said, nice kill and yes, a lot of those boxster guys are arese

just curious, but why do you feel the need to bring a car's handling into the thread when a german car gets its ass kicked in a STRAIGHT LINE?

the boxter handles well and my little brother's car gets killer gas mileage. on the street they both get pwned. regularly.

Good kill! Next time they try the flyby, rape them again and again until they give up. One night in my dad's '94 Z28, there was about 5 or 10 riced out Accords, Civics, Talons, etc. behind me on the freeway. They all tried to do flybys on me one at a time. I pummeled them all one by one, over and over until they all gave up. It was one of the funniest nights of my life.

not cbring, haven't you realized yet? If a car isn't fast in a straight line, its worthless.

Nobody said that. It's just when the race is a drag race, the twisties have nothing to do with that. Boxsters like this should not race in a straight line with a faster car and expect to win. If they want to challenge a car to a road race then so be it. It is a ricer excuse to say, "my car will beat yours in the twisties" after they just got owned in a straight line.

I do belive F-Bodys get similar g's on the skip pad and roadcourse times as Boxsters. Maybe not?.... i am away from home so i dont have any recources at the moment. But for the money i do belive you could buy a C5, or a M3 that would wax the boxster in any driving condition. Thats just my opinion. I do love Porsche Carrera's however, they are bad-ass cars.

Steve, i would have kept on pummeling him, but i got that 108 limiter.

Thanks for all the good kill comments!

i made a response to what i felt was a very inaccurate statement. i even threw in the obligatory "nice kill" to not come off as a h4t3r!!!!1

i was, in no way, comparing it to the almighty camaro.

He tried to race you past 108. That is fast on the streets. My fly by kills were from 60 to about 100 each time. My car has a 120 mph limiter. I always shut down a race by about 110 though.

Huh? I wasn't criticising you at all if thats what you are getting at.

I personally hate the statement, well in the twisties i will blah blah blah.

Who here races in the twisties? Hardly anybody, not many car owners actually race in Auto X.
Who here races in straight lines? Just about 100% of the people on this forum.

That is just my opinon.

And no the Camaro is not almighty, its just better than the Boxster
