'97 Z28 Vs C4
I haven't street raced in about 6 months, but I couldn't help myself tonight (maybe that's what got me in trouble the last time. ). Anyways, I pull up next to a C4 (pretty sure it was a 6 speed) at a light. He had real dark tint so I couldn't really see who was driving. He throws a few revs and inches forward. I wasn't planning on racing so I just took off normally. We were cruising next to eachother going about 55. The guy in the Vette nails it then lets off. I figured "what the hell." I stuck it in 2nd and just then, the Vette nails it and I lean in to about 3/4 throttle in 2nd...just pacing the guy. I shifted into third and nailed it and pulled 2-3 lengths by 85-90 I'd say. I just ran away from him. I forgot how slow those cars are. j/k Back when my car was stock, they were a handful. In his defense, I'm sure the car was 100% bone stock.

We can't?
There is certainly Corvette owners out there that think they can beat any fbody because they drive a Corvette. I think fbody guys are much more educated on what is really going on when it comes to performance.
LT headers and a cam really wake up the LT1/4 engines.

Thanks, I love the combo I have. No dyno yet but should be 340-350 rwhp.

Thats a beautiful car you have man. I want an LT1 corvette so badly. LS1 Vettes do nothing for me but that 92-96 style just rules.
