Battle of the 6's

Me and a friend were on the hwy. going to a car show with no cars around coming up over a hill where you can see a long ways ahead. I have a stock 97 V6 auto with a system where as he has a lowered 98 V6 auto with a catback and intake. We were doing about 75 mph side by side and honked 3 times and went. On the 3rd honk as I was in overdrive I put it to drive to get that extra rpm boost to about 3300RPMs which is close to the 4000RPMs max torque to whined out 3rd gear faster. By doing that I pulled a half a car on him and by the time I shut down at 110 his front end was at my rear tires.
It was just a fun lil' race that I thought might be entertaining. Hope you enjoyed it.
