Went to a Ford race and beat'em with a chevy!
This past weekend Holcomb Motorsports put on a their annual Fast Fords in the Fall race at Rockingham dragway. Well I ran in the footbrake class, being that is one of only two classes that other brands beside Fords can race in, and won the damn thing. I don't know which was more satisfying, the cash, $500, the trophy, $25, or the look on all those Ford guys faces, priceless.

Good deal! Like winning an "away" game!
Reminds me of the time my brother showed up at a Mustang vs. F-body even down at MIR a few years ago and proceeded to mop up a lot of both makes in his FIERO. Went to the final round in brackets before losing (no, not to me- I got clobbered in the 2nd round when I missed 3rd). And not becuase he was running 16.0s or something like that. He flat out beat a lot of guys to the other end of the track laying down high 13s like clock work, despite an iffy clutch.

You won the only class that the power your car makes or how fast it can run does not matter.
Figures that is the class that a chevy could win.
J/k.
My father won the Footbrake class of that same race like 4-5 years ago.
