One Mean LT1
Met up with a Z28 in my buddies 03 GT last night. Oh and it wasnt a good night to be driving a stang. The short of it is i got my ass kicked. The GT I was driving is all stock save for the ubiquitous Flowmaster 40 series mufflers and a K&N. He was running a built 355, turbo 400, ET streets, 4 inch exhasut and no cats, full cage, tubular suspension components, and a 150 shot of nitrous. We stopped to talk and i gave respect. He said i gave a good run. But it was like street car versus race car. I was like ok ya know. But that thing was bad. And very expensive. He said it runs 11.40s on motor and 10.30s on the bottle. and then he said he'd have it in the 9s November 1st. Whoa!!! I give major respect.
Just had to share.

That was me...lol. I thought the GT had a turbo on it. I kept hearing this BOV and thought it was coming from the stang but come to find out it was coming from an import that was behind me. Anyway, nice talking with you.

Nah didn't talk at all before the race. It was one of those races you get into cruising around. Didn't go from a dead stop and didn't race the whole 1/4 mile. Just kind of got on it from a roll to see what I was up against. If I would have gotten pulled I would have sprayed the 150 shot.

That was fun man. As soon as you purged the nitrous I knew I was dead. But I figured what the hell. It was a good run. I was going all out and this guy thunders by. I was Holy Sh!t. That liscence plate of yours is very fitting. The owner of the car wants to Vortech it, but not anytime soon. Later
