Car Clubs

My name is John and im 17 yrs old with a 1999 Camaro z28... Im looking for a car club! I have been interested in camaro's since i was like 10 and knew what a car was. Im looking for a club somewhere in IL (the northern part if possible)... I have checked various search engines (yahoo, google, ask jeeves, etc...) for car clubs and i have found a few but no-one i was to interested in... I was curious if you are in a car club or know of a good one (small or big) please notify me on here or at my e-mail (borderpolice07@aol.com) with details, and information maybe a url of somewhat so i can check them out. I am very talented in the works of web-design and computer repair, i have done some work on lt1's and have expirenced working on ls1's so i know a few things if this makes a difference... Thanks for the help and informationg, Thank you very much!

There's also the Illinois Camaro Club (link in my signature). Sure the web site is in the dark ages but the events, car shows, cruises, etc. that they provide are priceless. There's a lot of 1st Gen and 2nd Gen owners there, too, so if you're interested in mixing it up with older Camaros you found the right spot. Believe me, pay the $18, join the club, and watch the event schedule. They do plan a lot for the good weather months.

And don't forget checking out www.fbodyowners.com. It was started by a guy from Orland Park, IL and there are a lot of other local Illinois and Chicagoland owners there, too. Monthly we do lunch-time gatherings at local Hooters restaurants that bring out everytime 30-35+ cars.

Well, this IS the Midwest F-Body Association part of www.cz28.com, and www.mfba.org is the club site for this part of the board.

FYI -

GregBiz and I are going to be doing the Chevy/Vette Fest with the Illinois Camaro Club next weekend downtown at McCormick Place. Just thought you might want to check out the show and be able to check out our club display. Not only that, but there should be plenty of other car clubs there for you to check out, as well.
