Suzuki Swift vs z
my friend has a 1990 suzuki swift gti, with exhaust intake short shift the thing is completely gutted, runs 15.8......the hype about his car is so big at our school, everyone thinks its the fastest car in the town, so it was destined for us to race.
After being hastled for a while, i finally gave in, and this morning we lined them up, we ran twice...
First Run: went on the count of 3, i didnt launch pulled 3-4 cars on him in first, hit second and pulled another 4 by the time i shut it down at about 110 i had a good 15 cars on him. He was claiming i jumped the gun, so i agreed to race again.
Second Run: Let him count it down, he launched at 3500 and i let him get a few cars on me before i let it rip, took me to the end of second to be door to door with him and immediately started to pull.
Not a very impressive kill, but had to show some people that modded z28's are faster than basically stock swifts

Was that the 3-cyl turbo model? I remember wanting one because they've got to be almost free (like worth a few hundred dollars max). Anything free is fun to play with.

People will always remember Camaros. It's THE thing to beat. If you can beat a Camaro, then you're regarded as fast, regardless of year, number of cylinders, etc. Around here everyone wants to race me just to see how they match up. It doesn't matter what they drive. I especially like the SUVs that try to catch up to me. I just smile and press the gas from a quarter to halfway.

Nope, its not the 3 cylinder turbo model. Isnt that fireflys??? Im not too sure as they are all ****. Its a 1.3 I4. Thats basically what the GTI is. its got 4 wheel discs, so it stops better than a go kart

It turns out the Swift GTi is the NA 4cyl version. They offered a Chevy Sprint Turbo in 1988 only, and the Canadian model (which ran for several years) was the Pontiac Firefly. They have a huge 1.0 liter 3 cylinder turbo engine. 70 hp, 103 torque. Fasten your seatbelt
