Question N02 Bottle Overheating Question??

First off I live in AZ and it's that time of year where it's hot here!

At what PSI will the blowoff tube/safety valve pop at? If it does pop will it unload the whole bottle or just enough to get it back to a safe pressure?

Guys in hot climates: Do you keep your bottles in your car or pull them out in the hot time of the year?

I think the relief pops at 1500 psi, never had it happen,so not sure.
Once it pops, the whole bottle is emptied. It's a small piece of foil, thats it.

Question

Once it does pop is the bottle messed up? Do you have to get a new valve?

All you have to buy is a new disc. Make sure you only put one disc in! A certain idiot gained fame by putting two in and having the bottle explode.

on my nx kit there is a small metal disc in the blowoff valve fitting that says 3000 psi on it. once the disc pops all psi is gone then you replace the disc and fill it again.

here is the nx link to the part then goto bottle accesories and then bottle safty fittings.

The blow off valve goes at 3000 psi and i believe the bottle itself would fail around 4000 - 5000 psi.
