Post tranny ?'s

i own a 91 rs v6 camaro i would like to put a 350 in it but i need to know if the transmission will fit up or will i need a new one... i am also curious what the name of the transmission is... if the tranny doesnt fit up what all would have to be done to fit a 4 speed muncie up to my car with the 350... any help at all will be appreciated.. thankyou

I am 955 sure its a Th700R4. I think they are interchagneable but you will need a different bell hosuing the stock bellhousing will not fit.

as for the muncie 4-speed, I would check out third gen tech they might be the ones that have done it.

i know there are kits to hook a T-56 6-speed to a 350 in a 3rd gen.

And jsut in case you already didn't know, the T5 5-speed si not storng enough to hold up agians th power of a 350.
