Post 1969 leaf springs

i have a 1969 6cyl that has been rebuilt as a SS396 M20 4 spd. It still has the mono leaf and 10 bolt rear end. I want to work with the 10 bolt but to use the 5 leaf rear springs. What should I expect with this change and while making this change are there any other changes I should make.

thanks

The main difference is the spring perches are taller, to make up for the taller spring pack. The u-bolts are also longer. Any set of multi leafs from 68-81 will bolt in. I would also add some polyurethane bushings, especially if you plan on adding slapper bars. The shock p/n is different for multi's also, due to their different spring rate.

Global West makes a really good conversion kit.
I think the whole kit with springs (really good spings BTW) is $375
