Well if my car isn't in the shop getting a new bumper I'll be there. How many people show up for these events, just tryin to figure on many runs I can get in, it seems on wensday test and tune you must stay all day to make 4-5 runs

Well I guess I jinxed myself. Seems the clutch hydraulics took dump last night. I'm 50/50 now. I'll have to check it out tonight. Went 12.41, 12.43 though. . .

Murdock! Not bad at all, man! 115.2 is definately no slouch How did the rest of the run look? drop the interior, better 60 foot and that's an easy 11 second runner. Goodluck!

AutoRoc:

It was looking good. My previous best was 12.41, so I duplicated that. Everyone I talked to in the staging lanes beat me up about losing the Nittos for some slicks so I can run a "Man Sized 60 foot"

Clutch fluid looks a little burnt. I'll refill and bleed and see what's up. I slammed/raked third gear pretty bad when I lost the clutch pedal. Hopefully nothing broke and I just need some higher temp fluid. Any recommendations? I know different brands show different temp limits. I was just going to buy the highest temp I can find. . .

If 3rd gear's busted, I guess I can still fry rice with 1-2 and 2-4 shifts!

Looks like GREAT weather today. Unfortunatly I just wrapped up my new tranny+torque converter+tranny cooler install last night. And I don't think it is a good idea to romp on everything right away. I have to make sure everything stays buttoned up.

Thanks for hosting this event. I am still quite irritated at how porely I ran, but fun nonetheless... The huge delay due to track cleaning and cars blowing up wasn't so fun though.

Can anyone get their car to hook up at Milan?? I'm thinking of going to Stanton or Lapeer to see if I just suck at driving.

BTW Cold Air Intake did absolutely nothing for me. MAF ends added about .5 mph to my trap speed.

Well a bad night but not horrible. 3 runs in back to back altogether. 2.30, 2.1X, 2.30, 60 foot times... My 15.50 car can all of a sudden spin first gear to redline at Milan's beautiful facility. I can't do that on a cold street or a gravely parking lot. I'm serious about that. Launched the car behind our shop today with the spray and it hooks up about 20 feet after I launch and GOES. Ah well. Oh and I am missing roughly 6 MPH from my last outing Only changes have been a new trans, cutout, skinnies, and a very mismatched converter...

My best 60 was a 1.94 not great but OK that was on ET Streets with 15lbs. I was running a little slower than normal but that's due to the fact that I stopped power shifting.

I hear ya denny. even on my ET streets tuesday, I was only geting 2.0x 60's. on the street, I can launch as hard as the converter will let me get to w/no wheelspin whatsoever. then I get to the racetrack, and wammo, wheel spin. I dont get it.
