Need advice,,, drivers side window leaks in rain.
Has anyone had a similar problem? Just noticed this today in a hard down pour in my hometown. The leak is located at the top of the window where the big pieces of rubber meet and form a crease and right above your dead. It's the side window not the T-tops. I own an 01' so it has to be covered under warranty. It's not a huge leak but it drips about every minute or so. Is this rare or a common problem with Camaros?

I had a 99 Z that dripped where the drivers side window met the rubber seal. I think it is the rubber seal of the T tops that meets the pillar that leaks. Any way The dealer told me they had a guy that comes in on wednesdays to fix the leaks under warranty. So there is a fix and yours should be covered under warranty.I never bothered to have mine fixed and I sold the car.

Owned 2 F-bodys ... they both did this. It's not bad ... just a drip every now and then.
There is a tech note that provides specific instructions on how to adjust the window glass to properly fit the rubber seal. Unfortunately, after 5 trips to the dealer, they never did get the Camaro to completely stop (although they did improve the fit). I understand that the glass has 4 adjustment points.
If you're under warranty and can spend some time with your dealer (I.E. several trips and you'll need to provide your own alternate transportation) then let them try to fix it.

Re: Need advice,,, drivers side window leaks in rain.
I have the same problem but no warrenty :S I have heard of siliconing between the rubber and the inner frame which is part of the front windshield. Also the little plastic piece that is held down by a screw under the t-top can leak. I am yet to try all this advice I was given but the weather just wont let up! The plugs under the rear seats came in handy to open and drain out the puddles. Not sure if there is plugs in the front and would have to remove the carpet hold-downs. Sounds like vasoline or K-Y is the best way to go to see if that is in fact the cause from poor seal between the window and the seal itself. Any other ideas?

Re: Need advice,,, drivers side window leaks in rain.
I had the same problem as you.
When my power windows both died and I had two new motors installed, they pushed the window up against the t-top MUCH better and there has been no leaks since then.
Once your power windows motors die, your t-tops will stop leaking.
